What is the Voltage Revolution?

We believe that young people have everything it takes to make a massive impact on the world and shift it into a much better future than the one that currently looks the most likely!

We believe that young people deserve every opportunity available to make the most of the future that is coming their way.

However, we know that in this day and age, getting access opportunities, is a really difficult thing to do. Usually, it's all about who you know and who your parents know. That isn't right or fair. Voltage revolution is here to change all that.  

We've created a platform that provides young Black people in the UK with access to the people they need to know and the knowledge they need to have to get where they want to go. We're focused on making the creative and tech industry as Black as it can be.

Throughout history, there have been moments that can be said to have been inflexion points in race relations.

These moments shock our core beliefs as a society and force each of us to redefine who we are and who we want to be. The recent killings of Ahmaud Arbrey, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd in America, are such moments.

Like Martin Luther King Jr’s “I Have a Dream Speech" and his subsequent assassination, the election of Barack Obama and the subsequent election of Donald Trump, we are faced with a series of momentous occurrences that have sent shockwaves through global and local communities forcing each individual to come to terms with the society in which they exist, and perhaps for some, for the first time truly question the values, and belief systems their position in that society depends on.
